The ideal candidate will perform periodic and required maintenance and repairs on all company property and equipment in order to maintain safety, production, and quality. Essential duties will include the following:
- Schedules periodic and required maintenance and repairs on all company property and equipment as directed by Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance Manager, including but not limited to, welding, electrical, vehicle and machinery repair.
- Maintains and performs facility repairs.
- Prepare and maintain all work orders, relating to preventative and routine maintenance of equipment, machinery, company property, and building repairs.
- Attend periodic training to acquire, refresh or improve necessary skills pertaining to assigned job tasks.
- Special projects as requested by management.
Must be available to work overtime and weekends when required.

- High school diploma or Technical School Degree with appropriate mechanical and electrical skills.
- 2-5 years of responsible experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
- Demonstrate ability to use electrical and hand tools (wire strippers, volt meter, etc.) and electrical drawing and blueprints.
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines (NEC)
- Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns.
- Identify hazards or malfunctions to repair equipment by using Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).
- Basic electrical knowledge regarding low voltage controls and motors up to and including 480 amp 3 phase.
- Knowledge and ability to understand, wear and care for required PPE when working in electrically hazardous environments.
